Plastic Free Freezing

Instead of using a plastic ziplock bag to store extra cookies in the freezer I decided to try out an idea I read about in this article, How to Freeze Food Without Using Plastic, by The Zero-Waste Chef.  and used a recycled wide-mouthed glass peanut butter jar. It worked great.

    I have that same jar in my freezer right now! Filled with applesauce, but close enough. Glad to see more people on the same journey that I am. And good riddance to cheap plastic bags!
